It is a bully laurels and privilege to serve every bit the master at GHS! I am very blessed and fortunate to be role of a wonderful staff of teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators! Everyone's dedication and commitment to every student at GHS is apparent when you walk in the door.
I was born and raised in Norcross, GA, and I graduated from Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School. I completed my undergraduate degree at Georgia Southern Academy, and then spent the next 22-years in Denver, CO, where I taught 6th grade for fifteen-years, was an banana main for ii-years and an elementary school principal for five-years. During my time in Denver, I earned my Yard.A. in Didactics with an accent in Instructional Technology, equally well as my Principal Licensure from the Academy of Colorado - Denver.
In December 2014, later on visiting my family unit for Christmas Break and spending a calendar week in Ellijay, we decided it was time to return to Georgia. We love Ellijay and look forward to many years of existence a part of this customs and serving the students and families of GHS!!!

I am very excited well-nigh working with the students and staff at Gilmer High School every bit the Academic Banana Main. I take taught a variety of grade levels and content areas. The grade levels range from grades 4-nine. Math was always my area of specialty however, I have also taught science, social studies, language arts, and reading. I received my undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University, my Masters Degree from N Georgia College and State Academy, and my Specialist Caste from Lincoln Memorial University.
I was born and raised in Martin Canton, Florida. I moved to Ellijay, GA with my hubby ten years ago. Gilmer County is our forever home and a perfect place to raise our three children.

I was born a nd raised in Gouverneur, New York, a small community much like Ellijay. I earned my Bachelor's d egree from SUNY Potsdam in 2001 in the fields of Unproblematic Didactics and History, My pedagogy feel began every bit a fourth-course teacher in Paulding County, Georgia in 2002, and I spent eleven wonderful years in that position. In 2014, I was blessed with a teaching position in Gilmer County as a third-grade teacher at Ellijay Uncomplicated. For the past 3 years I have served Ellijay Simple, Gilmer Centre, and Clear Creek Middle as an Academic Passenger vehicle. Now I am thrilled to work with the students and staff as an assistant main at Gilmer High School. I received my Master's degree in Educational Administration from Jacksonville Land Academy in 2006. I too earned my Specialist caste in Curriculum and Didactics from Piedmont College in 2016.
Every bit I mentioned, Ellijay is much similar my hometown, minus the cold and snow, of course. That makes Gilmer County the perfect place to be. My married woman and I are excited to enhance our 2 children and time to come Bobcats in this outstanding school system and customs.

I am tr ul y bles sed to be part of Gilmer County Schools and serve as assistant master at GHS! High schoolhouse can be one of the most memorable times in students' lives, and we are excited about the experiences and challeng es that await our students this year.
I was bo rn in Blu efield, VA, and move d to Dalton, GA, where I grew up and graduated from Northwest Whitfield High School. I received my undergraduate degree from Westward Georgia, Masters Degree from Walden University, and Specialist Degree in Leadership from Kennesaw State Academy. I spent 11 years every bit a instructor and administrator in the Whitfield Canton School system. In 2014, I had the privilege of coming to Gilmer County equally assistant principal of Ellijay Principal. I take served in a leadership function at Ellijay Primary, Gilmer Middle School, and Gilmer High Schoolhouse.
My wife, Jessica, is a teacher at Ellijay Elementary Schoolhouse, and we have 2 astonishing boys. We honey Ellijay and our wonderful customs. We are proud to exist Bobcats!

Built-in in Orlando, FL, I moved to Cherokee County when I was nine and take lived in Georgia ever since. I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2002 with a degree in Finance, and so completed a Master of Arts in Teaching program through Georgia Higher and State University in 2004. Since and then I've earned my EdS in Curriculum and Instruction from Valdosta State University and my Educational Leadership Document from Kennesaw in 2014.
My teaching career started in Bartow County in 2004 where I taught middle school social studies and business for 10 years. My family unit and I then relocated to Bryan Canton on the Georgia coast where I served equally an banana principal for v years. This is my tertiary year in Gilmer serving as the CTAE Director for the district and equally an assistant master at GHS. It is my chore to help ensure GHS students gain the necessary skills to be successful afterward high school.
